environmental sustainability
At Lomar, we believe that every choice matters. Sustainability is a guiding value that accompanies every stage of our production: from responsible sourcing of raw materials to emission reduction, from energy saving to the circular economy of leather.
Responsible production, sustainable value
The leather we process comes from food industry waste, and is therefore already a recycled material.
Choosing leather means enhancing a natural by-product by transforming it into a durable good, reducing waste and environmental impact.
LWG Bronze Certification
Our company is certified Leather Working Group (LWG) Bronze, an internationally recognized standard that evaluates the environmental performance of tanneries. This achievement demonstrates our commitment to responsible resource management and reducing environmental impact, as well as internal traceability of our leather in production processes.
Clean and renewable energy
In 2025, we installed a 190 kW photovoltaic system, which covers a significant part of our energy needs. This investment allows us to reduce CO₂ emissions and actively contribute to the transition towards more sustainable production, decreasing dependence on fossil fuels.

Our green vision does not stop here. At Lomar, we are progressively reducing water and chemical consumption, investing in low environmental impact technologies, and promoting a corporate culture attentive to sustainability.
